At Kitchen Design Solutions (KDS), our mission goes far beyond kitchens—it’s about community, compassion, and creating spaces that matter. That’s why we are incredibly honored to announce our third year participating in the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway in beautiful Savannah, GA.
As a local kitchen cabinetry company and kitchen remodeling team based in Savannah, we take deep pride in giving back through our craftsmanship. Every year, we join forces with Landmark 24 Homes, Savannah’s premier hometown builder, and a network of local subcontractors to bring this incredible project to life—all to support the lifesaving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A Savannah Tradition of Giving Back
This year marked a record-breaking moment: 8,000 raffle tickets were sold—the most ever in the Savannah market—raising a tremendous amount for the children and families served by St. Jude. The house, donated by the incredible team at Landmark 24 Homes, was raffled off on June 4th, and the lucky winner was James McDowell of Savannah, GA.
From the ground up, this project is a testament to the spirit of collaboration and community. Landmark 24, founded by Savannah natives Jack and Jerry Wardlaw and Steve Hall, donates their time as the lead contractor. Every local partner—KDS included—donates their materials and services to make the Dream Home a reality.
Our Role in the Dream
As a kitchen remodeling company near you, KDS donated all the custom cabinetry and cabinetry installation services for this year’s Dream Home—just as we have the past two years. Our team designed and installed a kitchen space that’s not only functional, but also filled with warmth, elegance, and love.
It’s about more than cabinets. It’s about crafting the heart of a home where new memories will be made.
A Story Told in Every Nail, Note, and Cabinet
The journey of the Dream Home is something truly special—and one we love to share:
– The Groundbreaking Ceremony kicked off the build with hope and purpose, uniting sponsors, partners, and supporters in January of 2025.
– The Floor Signing Event invited community members to write heartfelt messages, blessings, and dedications on the subfloor, offering a personal touch that stays with the home forever. There was a Superhero’s festive theme for the event.
– Cabinetry Installation Day was a proud moment for our crew. Seeing the heart of the kitchen take shape brought our vision to life.
– The Grand Reveal showcased a finished home that was nothing short of stunning—every detail reflecting the care, talent, and love poured in by so many.
