At Kitchen Design Solutions, we are proud to continue our commitment to giving back through our partnership with the St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway. Each year, we donate our time, expertise, and high-quality Marsh Cabinetry to help create a stunning kitchen and custom cabinetry throughout the home, ensuring that every space is crafted with purpose and care. This initiative allows us to contribute to a meaningful cause, supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in their mission to provide lifesaving treatments for children battling serious illnesses. Fighting Child Hunger: The Palmer Group Cares Fall Food Drive
For many children, the weekend is a time to rest, play, and recharge. But for some school-age boys and girls in our low country community, weekends can mean going without enough food. Without access to school meals, these children face hunger until Monday morning, making it harder to focus, grow, and thrive.
Kitchen Design Solutions and The Palmer Group Cares, believes that no child should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. That’s why, every fall, we proudly contribute to a Peanut Butter Drive benefiting the Backpacks of Love Food Program, an incredible initiative dedicated to eliminating hunger in school-age children by providing nourishing food for weekends.
Six Years of Giving Back to Low Country Families
As of February 2025, we are honored to celebrate six consecutive years of supporting this cause through our annual Peanut Butter Drive. In 2024, we successfully completed our sixth drive, rallying together as a community to donate jars of peanut butter—a nutrient-rich, shelf-stable staple that provides much-needed protein for growing children.
Through our partnership with Backpacks of Love, we help ensure that students in Richmond Hill have access to healthy, nutritious food over the weekends, supporting their well-being and giving them the energy they need to learn and succeed.

KDS’s Secret Santa Tradition
For many of us, Christmas morning is filled with excitement, laughter, and the joy of unwrapping gifts with loved ones. But for some local children, the holiday season can be a painful reminder of what they don’t have—waking up to an empty tree with no presents to open. At Kitchen Design Solutions, we believe no child should experience that kind of sadness, which is why every year, our team comes together to pool our resources and purchase Christmas gifts for families in need. Through our Secret Santa initiative, we are able to bring smiles, warmth, and holiday magic to children who might otherwise go without. Giving back is at the heart of what we do, and knowing that we’ve made Christmas a little brighter for these families is the greatest gift of all.
