As the kitchen designer for this custom coastal kitchen renovation on Wilmington Island, Savannah, our goal was to create a functional space for cooking and socializing. Our clients spend a lot of time in their kitchen, so we incorporated a bar area and a TV to enhance their experience. We prioritized storage solutions to keep belongings, especially coffee-related items, neatly tucked away. Cabinets beneath the TV include four large pull-out drawers, ideal for storing liquor and wine bottles.
The kitchen is outfitted with Marsh Cabinets in Savannah Style with an Alpine White finish. A striking 39” Mantle hood in Hatteras Navy Blue and Alpine White adds a focal point, complemented by a wine rack in Espresso Stain and an island in Hatteras Navy Blue that opens on both sides. We integrated numerous accessories to maximize functionality, including a pullout spice drawer, a pullout utensil drawer, a pullout trash unit, three pantries with pullout shelves, an over-microwave vertical pan organizer, a coffee station, an office/desk workstation, and a dry bar and wine rack organizer. The island provides additional storage and workspace, making it central to both food preparation and entertaining.
