Located in The Landings on Skidaway Island in coastal Savannah, this kitchen renovation by Kitchen Design Solutions (KDS) and Curry Interiors transforms an outdated and inefficient space into a stunning and functional centerpiece for the home. The client’s original kitchen lacked modern amenities, aesthetic appeal, and adequate storage, making it difficult to host gatherings or prepare meals efficiently. Seeking a distinctive design, the client opted for a unique combination of custom Walnut cabinetry and modern White kitchen cabinetry, avoiding the generic White Shaker style. A large island with ample storage and strategically placed appliances, including a cooktop, steam oven, and convection oven, enhances functionality and creates a space perfect for entertaining. KDS utilized Starmark Cabinetry for its precision color matching and high customization, meeting the client’s vision at a reasonable cost. Despite the complexity of importing specialized equipment and glass from Canada, the team expertly managed logistics and maintained the project timeline, delivering a beautifully cohesive and personalized kitchen design.
