We opened up this fragmented kitchen, pantry, and breakfast area into one large open dream kitchen on Hilton Head Island, SC. We created space by redesigning and taking out part of the wall to the dining room, eliminated the panty closet, knocked out a dividing row of upper and lower cabinets, and utilized the breakfast area. The kitchen cabinets are by Marsh Furniture in a Savannah style with a salt off-white finish. The finished look is very sleek and open to the rest of the home. The kitchen now features L-shaped perimeter cabinets and a spacious kitchen island topped with a bold quartz pattern. The working island features under-counter storage, drawers, cabinetry & corner seating on two sides for four guests. We added a modern quartz waterfall detail on the wall near the kitchen sink. As part of the renovation, we installed a wall of pantry cabinets in the laundry room for added storage.
