The client discovered Kitchen Design Solutions at the Savannah Home Show in the Convention Center on Hutchinson Island soon after they purchased a 1999 home in the Georgetown neighborhood of Savannah, GA. The original white-painted kitchen needed a transformation to achieve a cozier feel. Collaborating closely with the KDS represntative, the client redesigned parts of the kitchen footprint, maintaining most existing appliances and only replacing the fridge. The installation, completed in about two days, was smooth and efficient, thanks to the homeowner’s familiarity with the construction process.
The result is a stunning kitchen featuring Marsh Furniture Co. & Marsh Cabinets in a Hampton style with a Nutmeg Perimeter finish and a striking Hatteras Navy Blue island. The satin brass cabinet hardware adds a touch of elegance, while Counterfitters provided the exquisite Leathered Granite Blue Labrador countertops. The backsplash, sourced from Floor & Decor, complements the sophisticated design. Plumbing fixtures by SandPiper include an LK Composite sink and a Moen kitchen faucet.
Appliances sourced from Livingoods were seamlessly integrated, with the existing refrigerator, an LG induction cooktop, LG wall microwave/convection oven, KitchenAid dishwasher, and Vent-A-Hood range hood completing the functional and stylish space. This remarkable renovation by Kitchen Design Solutions has transformed the kitchen into a warm and inviting hub, perfectly balancing practicality and aesthetic appeal.
