Solution:
To avoid the common trend of white cabinets, the homeowners opted for a bold two-tone design. They selected the 5-panel Savannah style in carbon grey stain from Marsh Cabinets for the lower cabinets, and for the upper cabinets, they chose the Concord style in natural white oak from Shiloh Cabinetry, with some featuring glass panels in the doors. To enhance functionality and organization, we incorporated custom features such as glass cabinet doors, a built-in utensil holder, a hidden paper towel holder, two pull-out trash drawers, and a utensil pull-out drawer.
The homeowners chose to work with John due to their niece’s positive experience, and overall, the process went smoothly. While there were a few minor issues, such as the symmetry around the dishwasher and a discolored drawer, John quickly resolved them. The existing skylights helped brighten the space, especially since a window above the sink wasn’t an option in their patio home.
Though they’ve only had the remodeled kitchen for a short time, the homeowners are extremely satisfied with both the design and the product. They now enjoy the space much more and appreciate the increased functionality and organization.
